Laura Hey, BScPT, MScPT and owner of MobilityFit Physiotherapy

Laura graduated from the University of Toronto in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy (BScPT) and Master of Science (MScPT) from Western University in 1992, studying arthritis, fibromyalgia and myofascial pain syndrome.


She is credentialed by the McKenzie Institute International in the Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy of spinal conditions, and is a Certified Tai Chi for Arthritis Instructor and Urban Poling Instructor. She has worked in St. Thomas for the past 35 years, assisting individuals and businesses with their physiotherapy needs.


Qualifications

Registered physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario

  • Accepted by  extended health benefit plans


Licensed Physiotherapy Clinic with Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) to treat Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Injuries


Registered with Veterans Affairs Canada (DVA/VAC) for Veterans


Registered with Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) to treat work related injuries

MOBILITYFIT PHYSIOTHERAPY AT THE YMCA WILL BE CLOSED BY MAY 31, 2018 AS LAURA HEY IS NOW WORKING FOR THE ARTHRITIS SOCIETY.

We are no longer accepting any new patients or starting new treatments sessions with previous patients.
